MAP #1                                                    

 1) Mark the cardinal directions: nord, sud, est, ouest on the map. 

                                                               (Careful as these will affect all your answers below.)

 

2) What direction would you travel from the school to the library? __?

3) Starting at the pool, what direction would go:

• first, staying on the streets, to get to the park?   ___? 
• What is the second direction to get to the pond?   ___? 
• What is the third direction to get to the house   ___? 

4) Starting from Mall, which direction is the Library ___? 

5) At the Mall, what 2 directions would the Post Office be? ____*? 
                      (*Use 2 cardinal directions together - remember one of them MUST go first!)

1) Mark the cardinal directions: nord, sud, est, ouest on the map below.

2) Follow the direction coordinates below by using two fingers; one on the letter and one on the number and trace each in the designated row until they meet. Mark the square, where your fingers met, with the coordinates:

B4, E3, D1, D2, B1, E4

3) Starting from A1 coordinates, draw a line to school and then to Central Park.  a) Which direction did you travel to go to school?  ____

         b) Which direction did you travel to go to Central Park?  _____

4) Starting from D2 coordinates, draw a line from the train station and then to the bank.   
a) Which direction did you travel to go to the bank?  ____
